Here’s a recap of Step 2.

In Step 2, you learned to notice patterns and themes of your thoughts and to group items from your thought list into separate categories. Some categories of thoughts include daily to-do’s, awfulizing thoughts, procrastination, and life goal-related thoughts. You selected a color to represent each thought category and now have a color-coded list.

Let’s go over Step 3.

At this point of the exercise, you should have a pretty good sense of the types of thoughts that go through your mind. You may notice that one category of thoughts is much bigger than the rest; for example, your procrastination list may look longer than your life goal list. This is important to notice because it indicates an area you’ll want to focus on in the near future. Now you’ve color-coded your list, you can move on to the next step: break it all down into more manageable sections.

🎨 Review your color-coded list. You’ll use the colors you selected to organize thoughts into smaller lists, one for each thought category.
